Monday February 1st top Black law enforcement officers from Winston Salem, Guilford County, Charlotte, Mecklenburg, Durham, Fayetteville, Raleigh, Wake, and Cumberland counties; and the head of the N.C. Highway Patrol representing North Carolina’s six largest cities and six largest counties gathered at the International Civil Rights Center & Museum, to celebrate and remember the 61st anniversary of four courageous Black N.C. A&T freshman that stood up against racial injustice thereby paving the way for them today.
